a mini roadtrip would do me so much good right now. one of the things i miss about being in new york is that you have so many other great places to travel to at your fingertips. connecticut, philly, mass, jersey. even dc is only a few hours south. one of these weekends i am making a playlist, jumping in the car, and driving north for 6 hours. stay in a random motel, eat at a cool restaurant, and drink beers in an awesome local bar. getting away for a while is the key to sanity. i also love staying in hotel motel holiday innnnns.
